Acupuncture for Cats

Cats are very philosophical and, if they perceive a treatment to be beneficial, they accept it very well. We have even seen a cat patient eating while the facial needles clanged in the feeding dish.

As in all species, we attend to diet, lifestyle and potential obstacles to recovery, along with a full chiropractic check and any necessary chiropractic manipulation. Cats really appreciate this.

Conditions in which we find acupuncture (holistically applied) most helpful or beneficial in cats are:

Aortic embolism
Back pain
Arthritis
Sinusitis
Shoulder lameness
Paralysis - Paraplegia - Hemiplegia
Head tilt - Middle ear - Circling
Lumbo-sacral problems
Pain control
An aid to fracture healing
Urinary or faecal incontinence
